What is Pomegranate beer?

The beguiling pomegranate has intense ruby-red looks and exotic, cranberry-like flavours. Sometimes compared to grape, it has fascinated people throughout the world for centuries. The complex tarty, sweet citrus fruit tones tantalise the taste buds.

Pomegranate beer is a unique sensory experience. A perfect balance allows the sweetness to shine through. Drinkers can enjoy the tropical summer taste of pomegranate all year round.

With Mediterranean origins, pomegranate is now a staple around the world. The seeded apple’s intricate flavours arrived in the Americas several hundred years ago. Today pomegranate is the core of many beverages and cuisines.

It’s easy to recognise the pomegranate. It has red skin, a top root opening and hundreds of bright red seeds (arils). Sweet, tarty pomegranate juice, known for its light sour aroma, fills the arils.

Fruity Monkey uses pomegranates from South America — Peru and Chile. The tropical paradise flavours and luscious quality are exceptional. Pomegranate arils can be too sour, but we have perfected the balance. The sweetness shines through.
